Woken By A Kiss

Once upon a time..........I was woken by a kiss. Come to find out......it was only coming from the laptop! You see, everytime my human Grandma, in MA, came online, there was a kiss sound! This time, it WOKE ME RIGHT UP! And here I thought some chicky doggy was kissing me :(

Note from Mom: It really was very funny when this happened! The kiss truly woke Billy right up. The Grandma's sound when she goes online has since changed.

Mommy, I'm Sick

Early last week, our little Billy was not feeling very well at all! You can actually see that in his face in the first pic. He was not at all interested in eating, and was having very loose stools. Ralph and I were very concerned, and made an appointment at the vet for him. I took these pics the morning of the appointment, thinking, they could very well be his last. I gave him a "wipie" bath and changed his shirt, so he would be all nice and clean for the Doctor. He is 12 yrs old now, and we were preparing to send him over the Rainbow Bridge. Well.........we were very wrong! He just had an over abundance of bacteria in his stool, that was probably causing the problem! So the doctor gave him a shot, and sent us home with two liquid medications. By the time he got home, the medication that was in the shot, made him feel so much better, that he ate his food right away! He has taken his meds pretty good, and has continued to improve back to his old self! Needless to say, we are breathing sighs of relief, that he will be with us longer!

Julia And Her Violin

This young lady, my Grandaughter Julia, is 10 yrs. old today! Gosh! Where have these last ten yrs. gone? I just love her so much! Sure wish I didn't live so far away from her and could visit more often. Hopefully the next ten years won't go by so fast!

This will be my last scrapbook page for now. At least untill my mom gets off her arse butt, and makes some more. Since the day I came to live with her, she has made sure I have had plenty of patriotic clothing! I do have to say though, Red, White and Blue, are my colors!!!

New Backyard Friend #2

This is just the latest, of my backyard friends. Is he a falcon? I love birds, but sure don't know much about them. He was seen earlier in the week, swooping down for a rabbit. Sure glad I didn't see that! I would have been crying like crazy! Anyway, if he isn't a falcon, please let me know what he is. Thanks!

My mom thinks I am smiling like a Chesshire Cat! I don't even know what that is, but I am positive I am not a cat! I am just smiling cause I am sunbathing, and it feels great! You want another good reason I am smiling? Today is Mom's 300th blog! She wasn't sure she would make it 100 days, let alone 300! Not much longer, and it will be our year aniversary! I sure will be smiling that day, from ear to ear!

Saturday Finally Came, Corned Beef Day for us

Yay! Today, (in this pic anyway) is Saturday! I get my corned Beef dinner tonight! As you can see I did some sun bathing this afternoon. Trying to tan up my grays! Maybe I will have to purchase some Loreal to make them look better though.

Saint Patricks Day Sadness

OK, so I am a bit late with this post. But as my mom always says; Better late than never! Here I am all in garb for St Paddys Day and my mom just told me I had to wait for my corned beef dinner until this Saturday night. That just stinks, that she has to work five evenings a week, and can't even have dinner with us. There will be another post about me FINALLY getting my St Pats dinner.

Springtime In My Yard

I wanted you all to see how Spring has SPRUNG, in our yard. After our very extended winter, (go ahead, laugh if you like), it is so delightful to witness the color, as it is popping up all around us! And........if you all remember........I love taking Macro pics of our flowers! Another day, I will post a larger version of the blue flowers, where you can see the morning dew on them. Spring sure gives us all new life, especially in flowers!

New Backyard Friends # 1

Mr and Mrs Morning Dove, have taken up residence in this plant on our patio. It is very easy to take pictures right from my back door! I had a family a few years ago, but lost all the photos, when my computor died. They were awesome, so am hoping these will be as well. Mrs Dove has been staying in the nest since April 2nd, so I am assuming that is when she laid her first egg. Hopefully thing will go well, and I will be able to post more pics! The last pic shows both Mr and Mrs!
